Mr. Bolden's love of people inspired the creation of YouthHealth USA. Mr. Bolden still works full time at Andel Engineering his Civil Engineering business and not just in the office but out in the field at times helping with survey work as well. He is amazing in his 90's he supports many positive community organizations. He is very active member of his community, Mr. Bolden has held various executive positions in the following Newhall/Saugus/Valencia/Santa Clarita Valley organizations and remains active in: Rotary Club international, Elks Club, Chamber of Commerce, Various City and County Committees, Boy Scouts of America, Boys Club, YMCA, Building Committee for the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital and he has volenteered as the president of the Sam Dixon Family Health Centers a 501c3. Mr. Bolden is especially dedicated to helping young people make the choices necessary for leading productive, fulfilling lives. Mr. Bolden, is strongly motivated to help on a big scale and so has turned his heart and wealth of knowledge and talent YouthHealth USA and national Choose2BPositive Movement and its goal of helping all of us especially children gain stronger common core living values so that life can open up to everyone a more wonderful future with endless possibilities
ooks of newspaper articles reflecting his dedication to his fellow man and yet remains humble and willing to give more at his age as a member of what we like to call "Adults with More time" which others refer to as senior Edward Bolden founded Andel Engineering 1964. Mr. Bolden earned his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1949. He is a registered Civil Engineer and Land Surveyor in the State of Illinois, as well as a Registered Civil Engineer in the State of California. His professional affiliations include the California Council of Civil Engineers and Land Surveyors.
Mr. Bolden has support the Eradicate Polio program to the point of even traveling to Africa, Egypt, Mexico and all around the world to participate in inoculation as many as 30 million young people in one day. Every year he travels to help even build housing for the less fortunate
Mr. actually joined Rotary in 1965 and became club president in 1970 and In 1975 Edward Bolden was made a Rotary International 'Paul Harris Fellow' for the first time and has reached that goal many times since. He was elected to be the District Governor 1984 of Rotary and remains a major donor in all ways to Rotary. Mr. Bolden, remained a central supporter of the D.A.R.E. programs and has hosted trainees from other parts of the world to help change the minds of youth. He received a D.A.R.E. America Citation in 1998 for services to drug-related education among youth. He has been many places including China most recently with the chamber of commerce growing communicative exchanges for improvements in local business successes. These were just some of the cause of great pride for his family and parents before their passing on. He has walls of rewards and bcitizens. He is a strong believer that as long as one can they should use their live in service to others.
Mr. Bolden is a role model and an excellent dad, husband, son, contributor to society and just a really good neighbor who cares and works hard to be able to give and show appreciation. We feel his integrity, determination, experience and motivation is invaluable to our staying on track to the success we seek in helping all of America's youth have the tools and help they need to continue to succeed through all their lives
